Designer vs. Budget: Casual Monday
I wore this outfit a couple Mondays ago after coming back from a tiring weekend and although it’s pretty basic, not only did I end up actually liking the look, but I realized I ended up wearing the budget version of a lot of some usually expensive items. Some trendy and some good classics, shop below both the designer version and the budget version that I wore!

When Balenciaga first came out with these, I never really considered buying them because even though I thought they were kind of cool, they were too trendy and too much of a stretch (no pun intended). I didn't want to spend almost $1000 on something that I didn't know was going to look good or if the trend would even last. When I saw this Jeffrey Campbell version, it was the perfect opportunity to try out the trend without it being too much of a risk. As much as I don't like buying designer's copies, these were worth it because their super comfy and not a risk. They also come in red and pink and I can't wait to do more looks with them!

If you add the prices from the designer items and the budget ones, the designer outfit comes at nearly $3,000 and the budget to roughly $300! While it's not super cheap either, most items are great classics worth buying (designer or budget) or trendy expensive ones for cheap. A win-win situation if you ask me!
