Fall 2018 Trends
It’s officially October and Fall is slowly but steadily coming along here in New York. While Fall trends often tend to stay more or less unchanging, this season I’m noticing a couple of new styles and colors that I’m really loving. This newness got me excited to explore more with clothes even when it’s cold outside and I’m looking forward to changing things up a bit. One of my favorite ways of doing so is incorporating items that may be geared more for warmer weather into my Fall outfits and winterizing them. I made a Pinterest board of all the outfits, colors, prints and combinations I’m into this season and below are some of my favorite trends that I’ve been seeing much of.
Printed Jersey Turtlenecks
Neon Colors
I’m especially loving citrus colors like green and orange.
Midi-skirts
I think it’s so chic and cozy to pair them with an oversized sweater and before I saw this as a big no-no but I’m actually liking them with thigh high-boots too.
Tones of nudes, browns and rust
Florals and Plaids
I’ve never been a huge fan of florals but this season I’m seeing it incorporated in ways that I would definitely use.
There are so many more color combinations, prints and outfits that I’m obsessed with this Fall so be sure to check out my Fall Inspo ’18 board on Pinterest for more, I’ll be keeping it updated!
PS: I think this is the first blog post I do where I don’t link everything. I’m always going to and especially with affordable options but since most of these are a lot of aspirational photos with high-end clothes I figured it was best to just use cool photos for inspo. I do have the links for some though if anyone is interested!
