Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

Five Favorites: Kiehl's Products

Five Favorites: Kiehl's Products

As some of you probably know, as of the past year and a half or so I’ve been totally obsessed with skin care. I always took relatively good care of my skin but I have now taken it to new levels, trying different brands, products and really learning about my skin and what is good for it.

Kiehl's is a brand that I think everybody has always known about, including myself, but I always pictured it as a very simple, classic brand, nothing too special. While it is simple though, they have such a huge variety of products that are so useful and amazing! I've gathered up quite a collection, so here are my top five favorites.

Amino Acid Shampoo & Conditioner

$7-55 each.

$7-55 each.

I know these are technically two products but I put them together so I could squeeze one more product at the end of the list. Throughout my life I have tried so many shampoo and conditioners, and while I have my drugstore favorites, as far as high-end brands go, this is definitely my favorite. I started using it over the Summer and well into Winter and I swear my hair has never been better! It leaves it so smooth and hydrated, plus it has the best coconut smell. I usually follow it with a little bit of Frédéric Fekkai's Brilliant Glossing leave-in créme.

Midnight Recovery Concentrate

$47-$123

$47-$123

I have a lot of serums that I alternate and even one I use every night but what I love about this one is that while all my other serums each have a specific purpose, this one is just a very general but also very effective serum for when my skin really needs a boost and well, recovery.

Avocado Creamy Eye Treatment

$29-$48

$29-$48

I always heard about this product but only got it a couple weeks ago and I love it! I use it every night and it’s great because it feels both thick and refreshing. Not only do I love the way it feels before going to bed but it lasts throughout the night and my eyes and the skin around it feel so nice in the morning when I wake up.

Turmeric and Cranberry Seed Energizing Radiance Masque

$32-$39

$32-$39

Just like serums, I have a lot of masks. Unlike the Midnight Recovery Oil, I love that this mask does actually have a specific purpose to it and that is to energize and brighten your skin. The second you open it, smell it and see its bright color, you know it’s going to do just that.  It is the perfect skin pick me up and truly leaves your face glowing and refreshed.

Richly Hydrating Lavender Hand Cream

$15

$15

I know this one is silly, but I’ve been carrying it around my purse for months now and I wouldn’t dare not bring it with me! The lavender smell is amazing and I just think it’s so important to keep your skin moisturized throughout the day. I always find I really need it especially during these winter months!
