Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I document my adventures in travel, style, and food. Hope you have a nice stay!

B's Currently In: Glossier

So for the last few months I have been patiently waiting and trying out all of the Glossier products so I could properly review them and I think the time has finally come! Lately I have been getting super into skincare (updated routine coming soon!!) and I had been noticing a lot of people raving about Glossier so I decided to check them out.  The first thing I thought was that not only are their products so cute and aesthetically pleasing but I absolutely loved and agreed with their motto: “Skin first, beauty second.”  After looking up some reviews and videos, I decided to do a little purchase. The first products I bought were, Phase 1 Set (comes with Milk Jelly Cleanser, Priming Moisturizer, Balm Dot Com), Phase 2 Set (comes with Boy Brow, Stretch Concealer, Gen G Matte Lip), Haloscope (in Moonstone), Perfecting Skin Tint and the Soothing Face Mist.  After realizing I was absolutely obsessed with the brand and definitely needed more, I decided to purchase the Super Pack (skin supplements), the Mask Duo, Cloud Paint (Puff and Beam), the lipgloss and all of the Balm Dot Com’s.  So with that being said, and having time to really test all of them out, I now give you my definitive ranking of all the Glossier products that I own!

1.  Boy Brow

$16

$16

Boy Brow is my absolute favorite of all the products and if there is one product I use everyday it is this.  I’ve always struggled with my brows because I felt they were too light but then I would over fill them and looking back, I just made them look worse.  In came Boy Brow and basically saved me.  Not only is it super easy to apply but it perfectly strokes your brows up and in place while filling them just right at the same time.  If I had one complaint about the product it would be that I wish it were bigger because I run out of product so quickly!

2.  Cloud Paint

$18

$18

I have always loved cheek tints so I was so excited when Glossier came out with their own! This is the perfect product to give your skin a little color without having to put on a full face of make up.  I love how well it blends into your skin and it truly looks like color your skin made, you can barely even feel it’s there!

3.  Perfecting Skin Tint

$26

$26

This product is the perfect foundation or BB cream for people who don’t love wearing make up or covering their face in make up.  It is so light and blends perfectly onto your skin, while still giving just the right amount of coverage. I like to make a few dots all over my face and then just blending it in.  Then I set it with a little bit of translucent powder to make sure it doesn’t smear or anything.

4.  Generation G Matte Lip

$18

$18

I only have one of these (unfortunately) but if I had them all they would likely be the only lip products I used! What I love about these is that although they are matte, the go on so smooth and creamy, just like regular lipstick and they feel super natural, while still being pretty pigmented. Plus if you’re ever in the mood for some more gloss, you can just swipe some of Glossier’s lipgloss over it!

5.  Balm Dot Com

$30 for three.

$30 for three.

I am definitely completely obsessed with the Balm Dot Com’s, I have all of them! I love the plain one when I just want some lip balm to hydrate my lips, but the others smell ridiculously good! I would say my favorite is the Cherry because it actually gives your lips a bit of a tint and the new Birthday Cake one, which not only sells amazing but has a little sparkle too (I like to dab on some of the residue on my cheekbones).

6.  Priming Moisturizer

$22

$22

Glossier’s moisturizer is amazingly lightweight and refreshing while still being rich and replenishing at the same time! Although I do have my usual skincare routine and I use my brand’s moisturizer, I still love to use the Priming Moisturizer not only to prime but to also moisturize my face throughout the day.

7.  Super Supplements

$65 for all three.

$65 for all three.

This is the first time I’ve ever bought and tried skin supplements and I have to say I love the idea (and results obviously).  While these weren’t among my first Glossier purchase, after seeing great reviews and what wonders it did to people’s skin, I gave in! I don’t use them everyday, but sometimes my skin needs a little extra care and support and the Supers are perfect for that. I got all three so Super Bounce (to ease and soften skin), Super Pure (to calm breakout-prone skin and redness) and Super Glow (to brighten skin).  I would say the one I use the most is Super Glow, which I put all over my face and sometimes I like to add Super Pure in specific areas f m skin where I’m breaking out.

8.  Milk Jelly Cleanser

$18

$18

Like I mentioned, I already have a solid skincare routine so I don’t use the Milk Jelly Cleanser on a daily use but I still really like it and definitely recommend it. It’s a great cleanser for everyday use but if you’re like me, I love to use it if I ever want to wash my face (after working out, to remove sunblock, etc.) in the middle of the day without doing my full skincare routine.

9.  Haloscope

$22

$22

When Glossier says that this is the highlighter for “naturally” dewy skin, they really mean it.  It really is the perfect highlighter when you want a very dewy, “no make-up” make-up look. My only complain about it is that if I already have make up on, it gets stained with foundation or bronzer and I definitely feel that since it’s so dewy, I need to lightly set it with some translucent powder so I’m not accidentally smearing it on my hands all day.

10.  Mask Duo

$40 for both.

$40 for both.

The Mail Duo is truly the perfect combination of what your skin needs, you have to have both! First there’s the Mega Greens mask, which is perfect when you really feel like you’re skin needs major cleansing and detoxing.  Then there’s the Moisturizing Moon mask, which feels amazing when your skin feels dry and dehydrated.  I love to use both, first the Mega Greens followed by Moisturizing Moon.

11.  Soothing Face Mist

$18

$18

This spray is honestly such a treat! Not only does it seriously refresh your skin, but it smells amazing too.  It’s the perfect pick-me-up when you’re skin (and yourself) is feeling tired and dull in the middle of the day and even to brighten and make your make-up fresh and dewy.

12.  Lipgloss

$14

$14

Sometimes I’m just really in the mood for having a really shiny, glossy lip and Glossier’s lipgloss is the perfect product for that.  It doesn’t feel sticky at all and the shine is just perfect! I love to use it either over a bit of lipstick or by itself.

13.  Stretch Concealer

$18

$18

This is the one product of Glossier’s that I honestly don’t love.  While I can see how it definitely works for some people, it just didn’t do the trick for me. I loved the idea of a lighter concealer if I’m barely applying make-up, but this one felt a little too oily and never really set so it creased throughout the day.

That is finally all! I hope you guys find this helpful! Glossier has come out with a couple of products since my last purchase so be on the look out for more reviews coming soon!
